PaleJay got a bit of colour! - Loreal Feria Pastel Pink Hair Dye Review....

Saturday 11 January 2014

I have decided to do a review. I haven't really done one of these before so please bear with me :)

Recently I have gone back to blonde, i go through phases of tumblr'ing blonde hair and aching to get mine the same. It never happens but i give it a good try. Whilst on tumblr I came across a pastel pink haired girl n thought 'wow' that looks great!
It's also trending at the moment (Fearne Cotton!) which in a way i hate, because everyone thinks you've done it to be cool. Oh well.

With blonde hair i always look washed out, because i am so pale. I also have pink undertones in my skin so it clashes with the blonde so I think the pink will really work well with my skin tone.

I searched the net for some reviews from other bloggers and was determined to try Bleach London but when I went shopping today they didn't have it in Boots! Argh. So I picked up one bottle of L'Oreal Feria Pastel Toning Conditioner S01 Pastel Pink Panther.

There was only one bottle left so i had to just get that but i normally would have picked two up. Luckily one bottle was enough, in my opinion. I had medium length hair with isn't thick but also isnt very fine its kinda normal.

Here is a before picture:

As you can see its more of a yellow blonde than the recommended White blonde that you should have when applying this kind of dye, but I was already preparing myself for a peachy pink colour anyway.

I smothered the dye on my towel dried hair and left it for 25 mins (its recommended 5 mins for newly bleach hair or 15 mins for hair thats been bleach 2 week ago or more)

Here is how it turned out:

Looks different shades in different light, i wonder what the staying power will be!

What do you think?
Do you like odd colours for your hair?
